WHAT I OFFER
What I offer is very simple. I'll write a poem, you'll guide me as to what to write. Here are some things you'll want to remember:
Composition: I will take the short phrase you've suggested and write a poem using those letters as the starting letter of each line! That way, you'll know your poem is a truly original and unique piece of art for your loved one.
Poems should not only be able to be read, but also to be read aloud. I ensure the poem is not only meaningful, but is also written using perfect rhyme and meter. You'll be able to feel the rhythm of the poem as you read it, because of the words chosen to complete each thought.
WHAT WILL MY POEM BE LIKE?
It's up to you. You can tell me whether to write a beautiful poem that merely incorporates your secret message, or a very specific one that will paint a scene you may have lived or wished to.
Based on your secret message, the rhyme scheme may be different from one part of the poem to another. Every line will rhyme with another. Sometimes the first line will rhyme with the last line, and the second will rhyme with the second to last, and so on.
Other times I will incorporate a more traditional rhyme scheme, or use strict writing forms. For example, if your secret message is 14 characters long, I will usually write a sonnet, which is traditionally a 14-line poem with a specific rhyming scheme.
WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?
You don't have to have an even number of lines in your poem! If your perfect secret message is 17 letters long, for example, it will work just as well as one that is 16 or 18 characters, or any other length. So, just pick your favorite one.
I do not and will not write anything vulgar. However, if you wish a sensual twist on your poem for a lover (for example), a small additional fee will ensure it. Thank you for understanding.
Finally, please remember that writing is a creative and artistic endeavor. Of course I'll do my absolute best to incorporate everything I can in the work. However, I am also confined to a very specific set of strictures while writing. As it is difficult to write this way, please nonetheless understand that I will come as close as possible to your vision and won't compromise on the art.
